Warnock tells Fryers to bide his time at Crystal Palace

first_img1 Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has asked left-back Zeki Fryers to bide his time at his new club.The defender joined Palace in the summer in a £3m deal but he has played just three minutes of Premier League football in one appearance as a substitute.In recent weeks Joel Ward – who is usually a right-back or defensive midfielder – has played in Fryers’ preferred slot but Warnock says it’s just the way the squad works best right now.“Joel is the best player in that position at the moment,” Warnock said when asked about Fryers’ lack of action.“It’s difficult to take it off him.
